CFT-Facing-Worlds

Part of project: Miscellaneous .

A tribute to Unreal Tournament's iconic CTF-Face map, with a functional capture-the-flag game and shifting gravity.

CFT-Facing-Worlds is a tribute to the iconic CTF-Face map from Unreal Tournament, reimagined as a playable capture-the-flag experience in Overte. The two opposing towers are located in different dimensions, creating a strange connection between the two sides. The red dimension is also a small wink to Stranger Things.

The capture-the-flag game is functional, although the experience is still under development. A gravitational tide continuously cycles between normal and low gravity, changing how players move through the arena and allowing them to make impressive jumps and cover large distances in mid-air.

Designed for two or more players, the world is primarily about competitive multiplayer action while adding an unusual dimensional and low-gravity twist to the classic Facing Worlds concept.
