Stations of the Metaverse
A place in Rantar Desert.
A satirical artistic exhibition exploring the abandoned ideas and promises associated with the Metaverse era.
Stations of the Metaverse is a satirical artistic exhibition about the rise and eventual abandonment of the term 'Metaverse' in relation to Overte. The exhibition presents four stations, each exploring a different part of the culture and ideas surrounding that period.
The installations cover subjects including Web 3.0, NFTs, the Metaverse, blockchain, and cryptocurrency. Together, they form an artistic commentary on the technologies, promises, and concepts that became associated with the Metaverse before the term fell out of use in this context.
